Manila Airport Becomes One of the World's Pit Stops for the Airbus A380

Lufthansa Technik Philippines is building a $30 million hanger in order to accommodate the larger aircrafts coming in to the airport.  This hanger will be able to hold and service the Airbus 380, the world biggest commercial jet.  There are only four sites that can currently service the Airbus 380, which has a wing span of 262 feet. This new facility brings Lufthansa's capital investment in the Philippines to $130 million.  AFP reports.
